This festival is the only event where wine lovers can taste the fruits of labor from over a dozen Illinois wineries in one location. The wineries of the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Association will showcase and sell the wines of Illinois. An educational tent will be the site of hourly presentations by wine experts on how to taste wine, the uniqueness of our Illinois Wines and pairing the foods that go best with them. Regional foods such as prawns, pies and barbeques will be available. Educators will also discuss the winemaking process and the art of growing the French/American vines that make Illinois wines so special.
